AVIUSA
In August 2022, Jack Alexander from Auroville International USA was in Auroville and visited our projects. The children have done a program for him with dance and music and they showed what they are learning in the computer classes.
Locations development
The locations that we have created are belonging to the local people whom we know already for a long time. The activities are taking place in their houses. We have adjusted some of the rooms to make them suitable for the children to study. In most of the locations we attached a big room so that the children are able to do dance activities.
Personal story of Ezhilarasi
This is Ezhilarasi. In her family there are lot of members with handicaps. She comes from a very poor background. She is learning the piano very well in Isai Ragam. It is for her a very nice opportunity.
Future ideas
- Next to our activities we would like to create some sport and playgrounds facilities around the locations we have at present.
- We would like to buy more second-hand laptops to enable computer classes in all the locations.
